Entry Requirements

To be eligible to apply for an apprenticeship with S&B Automotive Academy, you must:

  • Have a suitable level of English and maths, preferably a minimum of GCSE Grade 3 (Grade D) or above in Maths and English, or an equivalent qualification.

  • Be applying for or already working in a job role relevant to the apprenticeship that provides sufficient opportunity to develop and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve occupational competence.

  • Have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship

  • Meet all apprenticeship eligibility and funding requirements.

  • Up-to-date CV

  • Valid passport or driving licence as proof of identity

  • To be considered for an apprenticeship, you must have GCSEs, Functional Skills or Key Skills at GCSE Grade 3 (Grade D) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).

    If your grades are below this, we’ll discuss your options for taking functional skills in Maths and/or English.

    As well as this, predicated grades are accepted, and work experience or knowledge is beneficial but not essential.

  • Once you finish your apprenticeship, you’ll receive a Level 3 qualification in your chosen course.
